June Writing DumpsFaerie tugged at the reins, wanting to go faster to leap ahead of the horses in front of us, but I held her back, narrowing my eyes through my goggles at the dirt flying up from the thundering horses’ hooves. As we came around the corner onto the last lap, I finally loosened my grip on the reins, letting Faerie speed up.
